Marie has been schooled by educators from the Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. She is a published Illustrator for magazines and has had her artwork on display in several New York City, Florida and Pennsylvania galleries.
Marie has worked as a Visual Arts Instructor in New York City, Florida and Pennsylvania.
In NYC, she was the Program Developer for the Children's Museum of the Arts in SOHO, taught at Church Street School for Music and Art and at public middle and high schools as an Visual Arts teacher. Murals by her students were on display at the United Nations and on a television segment with Dan Rather on World News Tonight.
In Florida, she worked at Creative Clay as an instructor and Studio Director which was an arts school for adults with Special Needs and Dayspring Academy a charter school of the arts for children K-8th grade.
In Pennsylvania 1997, she was an art teacher for Baum School of the Arts and was able to teach Mixed Media Classes to Mercy Learning Center and Inner City Scholarship Classes.
