ason Horvath has a BFA from Tyler School of Art at Temple University and his Teacher Certification from Moravian College. While studying at Tyler, he was a Studio Art major, with a strong focus on drawing and printmaking.
He worked in the Bethlehem Area School District for 6 years prior to joining The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts Visual Art Department, in Bethlehem, PA. He has also attended The School of Visual Arts, Northampton Community College, and studied at the Barnstone Studios in Coplay, PA.
Upon graduating from Tyler, he worked as a custom framer for Corners Picture Framing, where he learned how to cut mats and build frames. He teaches Intro to Design, Composition and Color, Advanced Drawing, Art History I and AP 2-D Design. He has a strong background in drawing, especially with pastels, as well as some experience in printmaking.
